TURBEVILLE, S.C.- The Citizens Bank announced recently that Bobby Dukes has been promoted to Banking Officer. Dukes, located in the Turbeville office, currently serves as Loan Officer, where he provides both consumer and business banking services to customers in the Turbeville market. Dukes also serves as Security Officer, where he provides security training to employees at all branches.
"Bobby's promotion to Banking Officer is the direct result of his dedication to the success and vision of The Citizens Bank," said President Blake Gibbons. “Bobby has an excellent future with us," continues Gibbons. "Having worked with him and witnessed his commitment to our success as well as the success of our customers, I take great pride in recognizing Bobby's achievements that earned him this position," adds Brett Frazier, vice president and city executive.
Dukes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, majoring in banking and finance from the University of South Carolina. He joined The Citizens Bank in December, 2005 as a Management Associate. Dukes previously held a management position over purchasing for almost 17 years at Phibro-Tech in Sumter, S.C.
Active in his community, Dukes serves as music director for Olanta Baptist Church. He is on the committee for Dixie Youth Baseball in Turbeville, where he also serves as league coach.
